Accredited Medicines Information Training Scheme for Pharmacy Technicians
In the document 'Better Information for Managing Medicine',
released in April 2000, a strategy for Medicines Information Services
was outlined. One objective was career development pathways to facilitate
staff development in the whole of pharmacy.
In
support of this strategy UKMi have led the development of a national
scheme for the formal training and assessment of pharmacy technicians
in Medicines Information.
