The National MI Training Course

The National Medicines Information Training Course

The 3-day residential course is organised by the Education & Training Working Group. It has been developed to provide face to face training to help delegates achieve part B of the UKMi Training Scheme. For further details regarding the course and responsibilities of local line managers and Regional MI Centres please read the briefing paper (see below.)

Prior to gaining a place at the course the MI pharmacist must complete a PART A assessment and assess where they are with respect to PART B. Pre-course work is also required and a completed Nomination/Learning Agreement must be sent to your Regional MI Centre when requested. 

The National MI Training Course currently runs twice a year and is designed for medicines information staff working within the NHS..
