UKMi Training

UKMi Workforce Development Working Group (WDWG)

The UKMi WDWG have the remit of developing and updating various training tools. It aims to equip pharmacy staff with the appropriate knowledge and skills required to promote safe, effective and efficient use of medicines within the NHS. A number of training programmes are already established and are being incorporated into the MI career path. This includes the National Medicines Information Training Course (NMITC) and the Medicines Information and Advice Training Programme (MIATP). They assist in the development and training of pharmacy staff working with information regarding medicines.
